About: About Us
Our History
Founded in 198 they saw the need for a community sport that could be enjoyed by all age groups. The showgrounds had been bequeathed to Tooraweenah and gave the idea location for a golf course. It took many, many hours from designing, to clearing the course and putting the tees and greens in place.

The grounds were very bare and dry when the first games were played, but over the years trees were planted and the grounds watered bringing the course to the standard that it is today.
Originally a 9 hole course more recent times have seen additional holes added to make the course more interesting for regular players

After 38 years the club continues in along the lines of the original idea, being a commmunity sport for all grades of players. With that in mind the club has recently become affiliated with Golf NSW giving players who choose to join a worldwide handicap enabling them to play in any open competition at any affiliated club in any country in the world.
Membership of Golf NSW also allows the club to receive training from professional golfers as well as assistance to apply for grants to improve the course and facilities.
